In Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2, rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) find themselves on the twisting trail of a great mystery when Gary De’Snake (voiced by Academy Award® winner Ke Huy Quan) arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.

We just had the best family movie night at home watching Zootopia 2, and I can honestly say it was a huge hit with everyone in our house. We loved the first Zootopia, so our expectations were high… and somehow, this one topped them. The kids actually said they liked it even better than the original, which says a lot!

From the moment the movie started, everyone was glued to the screen. The storyline was exciting, funny, and full of heart. Zootopia 2 does such a wonderful job of keeping kids entertained while still giving adults meaningful themes to think about. That’s one of my favorite things about these movies—there’s something in it for every age.

We also loved hearing some of our favorite voice actors again. That’s always a fun bonus for the grown-ups, especially when you recognize a voice and look at each other like, “Wait… isn’t that so-and-so?” Those little moments make family movie nights even more special.

My husband and I both agree that Zootopia’s main messages are ones that today’s world desperately needs to hear. Kindness, acceptance, understanding differences, standing up for what’s right, and believing in yourself—those lessons are so powerful, especially for kids. Zootopia 2 continues to share those messages in a way that feels natural, engaging, and easy for children to understand.

The kids were laughing, cheering, and completely invested in the story. When a movie can keep their attention and spark conversations afterward, that’s a win in my book. We ended up talking about the characters and the lessons long after the credits rolled.

If you’re looking for the perfect movie for a cozy night in, especially on a chilly evening, Zootopia 2 is an absolute must-watch. It’s funny, heartwarming, meaningful, and truly made for families to enjoy together. Grab some popcorn, pile up the blankets, and make it a night to remember.
