Over the years, I've always loved the feeling of people playing with my hair and/ or massaging my head. In fact, one of my favorite things about seeing my hair stylist is the head massage that comes during the hair wash and conditioning!

The Mountrax 5-in-1 massager is an electric gadget that can be used both on the face and scalp. It has 3 intensity speeds, a vibration option, and a heat option.
The massager is also waterproof for use in the shower or bath, but avoid submerging the device for an extended period of time. Also, be sure to dry the device after usage in or near water.

The device takes two hours to charge. An indicator light will flash three times when battery is running low. Before starting, switch the nodules to the appropriate type based on which massage you prefer. Gently pull to remove and push to connect.
After charging, turn on the device using the right power button with a long press. A short press rotates the device's speeds: low, high, and low/ high interchangeably.
The left button controls a heating function as well as the red light. The heated function helps promote blood flow and relieve tension. To access the heat, flip the device to the smooth side. The red light can be used in conjunction with the three speed levels.
When desiring to use on the scalp, place the massager in the desired location and let the nodules do the work! The design of this device is such that hair won't get caught in the nodules, which is an absolute plush. Lift the device to move to specific areas rather than 'pushing it" around.
The same function works on the face as well, cleaning impurities using your favorite soaps and water. Use vibration to unclog pores on the face, or to relax further into your scalp massage.
The device stays on for ten minutes at a time. If you want to use it longer, just reset it, but be aware that battery life is approximately an hour, give or take.

This massager is super easy to use! I love how functional it is, and it really does feel good in various areas. I even used it on my décolleté area below my neck!
Trying to use the heat or red light options is awkward at first. Flip the device to the smooth side in order to utilize one of those options against your face or scalp. I do wish the heat was slightly warmer, but I also understand they can't burn people's hands!
My hand has a tendency to cramp when in one location too long, so be sure to take breaks and/ or switch hands when using this massager. Be sure to keep a grip on the device so that it doesn't fall onto you because it can hurt.
While this is a gift that anyone can use, it's obviously better if someone is "doing" the work for you, so that you can melt into bliss. Unfortunately, my dog's lack of opposable thumbs means that I'll continue to using the device on myself for now.
