The holidays come with twinkling lights, last-minute shopping, family gatherings, and a whole lot of joy—but for pet parents, there’s always one more thing to think about: Who’s going to take care of the dog while we’re away? In my friends and family group it's me.
This past year, I have rewarded myself with vacation from work and spent the time getting all the cuddles from my doggy friends. The time with them calms my soul and my heart is so full. Last year when my pup passed, I never thought I'd fall in love with other people's dogs, but if I only told you how many seem to flock to me. I can venture this is as fun as puppy yoga.
At the heart of dog-sitting is simple kindness. It’s someone stepping in when life gets busy to make sure your furry family member still receives affection, structure, and attention.
Whether your dog spends the holidays snoozing by the tree lights, chasing snowflakes, or waiting by the door for your return, having a loving sitter ensures they’re never alone. I'm pretty sure they love me. I know I love them. Rewarded yourself with some puppy cuddles.
