Your Netflix Personality Match: Esther, Bina, Morgan, or Joanne?

Netflix’s hit drama Nobody Wants This has become a cultural conversation about faith, womanhood, and identity. The series dives deep into the lives of four women, exploring their struggles, relationships, and journeys to find themselves—all while staying true to who they are (or trying to).

If you’ve binged Nobody Wants This on Netflix (and let’s be honest, who hasn’t by now?), you probably found yourself connecting deeply with at least one of the women in the series. Season 1 hooked us with its raw, emotional storytelling, while Season 2 pulled us even further into their tangled relationships, faith journeys, and family dynamics.

Each of these women—Esther, Bina, Morgan, and Joanne—brings something completely different to the table. They’re messy, real, and wrestling with love, identity, and purpose in ways that feel painfully human.

Esther is the quiet powerhouse—devoted, introspective, and deeply spiritual. Now in her 40s, she’s trying to find herself again after years of being a devoted wife and mom. Beneath her calm exterior lies a deep need for control—she wants to hold her world together, because chaos feels too dangerous. I connect with her calm strength and that instinct to hold on tight when life feels uncertain. Her journey of rediscovering who she is outside of her family role, and her steady faith through it all, really resonates with me.

Bina, on the other hand, is the steady heart of the series. She’s loyal and grounded, always carrying the emotional weight for everyone else. Yet there’s another side to her—one that knows how to quietly manipulate a situation to keep things running smoothly. Her strong sense of duty drives her to uphold family traditions and maintain appearances, even when it costs her emotionally. I see myself in her too—especially in that tension between responsibility and authenticity, and in how she leans on faith to find peace amid the pressure.

Then there’s Morgan, bold and outspoken, unapologetically carving her own path. She’s passionate and fiery, unafraid to question everything she’s been told about love, faith, and freedom. I think deep down, all women have a bit of an inner Morgan—a part of us that craves independence and self-expression—but we often suppress it to conform to social norms or keep the peace. Morgan just has the courage to live out loud what many of us only dream of doing.

And Joanne—the dreamer and the fixer. She’s trying to hold everyone else together while quietly yearning for her own sense of happiness. Joanne tries to remain true to herself while exploring new ideas and perspectives, but at times, that journey veers into selfishness. She’s relatable in that “we’ve all been there” way—balancing family, expectations, and self-discovery, often all at once.

Even though I’m not Jewish, I feel such a strong connection to Esther and Bina’s faith journeys. Their struggles—balancing devotion with doubt, tradition with individuality—feel so universal. Faith, in all its forms, has a way of shaping who we are and how we love.

So tell me—which woman do you relate to most?

Are you an Esther trying to find yourself again after years of caring for everyone else?
A Bina quietly holding everything (and everyone) together for the sake of family?
A Morgan whose fire burns just beneath the surface?
Or a Joanne trying to stay true to yourself—even when it means making tough, sometimes selfish, choices?

Maybe, if we’re honest, we’re all a mix of them—faithful like Esther, loyal like Bina, curious like Joanne, and secretly rebellious like Morgan.

Let’s chat in the comments—I’d love to know which character speaks to you the most and why.
