Today, I am embarking on an adventure. As many of you know, my son joined the military back in 2020. We have gotten some few and far between visits and after almost a year of not seeing him, I decided the birthday present to myself was to get on a flight and go see my baby. This will be the very first flight I take without my husband or somebody flying with me. I'm a little nervous, but I am sure any mother will agree, there is no fear we have that outweighs our need to be with our children.
