It's early in the morning and I am sitting here prepping for my week. I am sitting here scrolling my social media and talking to my friends all over the world. It has been snowing on and off for weeks and it has made me feel isolated. I don't drive when the weather is poor. I want to talk about that word... isolated. It sounds so negative. Yesterday, I was stuck in my feelings upset about being home alone and unable to go out. Today, I am realizing how blessed I am to be safe in my home surrounded by the things that make me happy.
It is important to remember that things are temporary. Negative feelings are temporary. There are blessings in life that are always there, but you have to be willing to look for them or at the very least recognize them. I am warm and have a nice cup of coffee sitting next to me. I am incredibly blessed. Today, I am counting my blessings. What are your blessings today?
