A good friend of ours wrote her first book. Of course we are going to be supportive and read it. They always tell you there is no handbook on being a parent. Everyone's experience is different, but I am seeing so much of myself in this book.
Let me introduce you to my friend, Juliana. She is the first friend that had a child in our group. Her story is amazing. She didn't just manage to be a mom. She managed to still be Juliana. She didn't accept things as a struggle, she built herself and her children up to be everything that they wanted to be.
Having a child young is hard, but her story shows how much strength she pulled from her experience. Even now as my children are adults, I can remember the feelings I felt as they were coming up. There is doubt, fear, and an immense sense of being overwhelmed. Juliana has taken all of that and showed the light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope you pick up her book just to realize you aren't alone. You are stronger than you realize and that your hard days are just a hard day. It gets better. You are doing it right.
