Back then, WorldFinds was just a dream – an idea Kelly had to create dignified work and economic opportunity for artisan communities. Today, she couldn't be more excited about what the company has accomplished so far. They are as committed as they’ve always been to breaking the cycle of poverty for women, children, and families in marginalized communities.
Their contemporary accessories are handmade by artisan partners (mostly moms!) across the globe using fair-trade, sustainable methods. Each accessory sold provides dignified work, fair wages, a safe workplace, and hope for the future through fair trade. This, in turn, provides education and food for the artisan's family and her community.
When WorldFinds came across my email, I fell in love with the Kantha line. I am a hippie to the core and could not wait to try some items from this line. It fits my aesthetic perfectly! The jewelry is well-made and supports women with jobs in fair trade. What’s not to love?!? The pieces are more beautiful in person than in the photos, if possible. I know I have found a new place to buy my jewelry and want to tell everyone about it! Look for their pieces in my cruise updates next month!
You’ll find WorldFinds jewelry and accessories online and in over a thousand retail locations across the United States and beyond, from museum stores and clothing boutiques to gift shops and galleries. Their products have created work for over 1,000 artisans in communities across the globe. So, while their designs are always evolving, one thing never will: their mission to empower women through fair trade.
