Y'all, this week has been long. It seems anxiety and drama have been swirling in several circles that I belong too and frankly, it's been exhausting, especially as work responsibilities continue to be neverending and challenging.
Today, a public announcement was made that the place I spent two very formative years earning my Masters in Christian Education is moving locations and essentially closing its campus. I heard about it from various people earlier is week, who have various thoughts and opinions.
I think back to those two years between 2009- 2010 where I grew significantly, where I made lifelong friends, and where I discovered the passion to enter a career that is always changing, growing, and challenging me. I'm sad, but I recognize that those buildings, apartments, and land aren't what changed me. It's people. It's community. It's love.
On this Friday evening, as we head into a new month, I hope that you have your own community to love you, to equip you, to support you beyond MBP's online community. I also encourage you to think back and reflect on those places, those people, and those experiences that supported you.
Remember, you aren't alone!
