Spring into Creativity With VersaChalk Liquid Markers & Boards!

Friends, I have to admit, that despite my years of Christian Education ministry, children's ministry, and youth ministry, I am just not a crafty person. Sure, I can create things for kiddos to do, but at home, it is not my forte.

My art teacher friend often comments about the amount of craft supplies she has around her home, and how she often works on various projects throughout the year to make her home feel seasonally decorated. Again, not me. Outside of Christmas, I'm pretty much a minimalist.

But, when I heard about VersaChalk, I became intrigued! Perhaps this is a way for me to have creativity in my home without the added messes and clutter that craft projects take up? So, I decided to check it out.

Tabletop Chalkboard

I was sent a flat foldable Tabletop Chalkboard. This 13 X 9 board is large enough that it's visible, but small enough that it's portable. The kickstand means it will stay in place and not easily fall down while in use. The Chalkboard also comes with one Versachalk wet erase black marker.

I already have some great creative uses for this board, so perhaps you will grab an idea too:

Seasonal Signs: Happy Easter, Happy Spring, Happy Mother's Day
Menus: Are you hosting a gathering on Easter? Are you hosting Mother's Day brunch? Perhaps a wedding or baby shower? This is PERFECT to showcase your menu selections.
Chores: Leave the kiddo's chore list visible and have markers available so they can cross them off as needed.
Grocery List: the entire family can write on this and then take a picture of it and be off to the grocery store!
Events: Perhaps you are on the parent's planning team for your kid's spring sports or events. In fact, I may use this as a "Register Here" sign for our Easter Egg Hunt next week!
Goals & Bucket Lists: Do you have some financial goals? Upcoming bucket list items? Or even create a summer fun list for your family! This would be such a fun way to capture everything

Chalk Markers

Recently, I was reminiscing about the days of school classroom chalkboards and the asthmatic attacks I'd have from clapping erasers together at the end of the day. Long Gone are the days of dust clouds, and hello to the days of non-toxic chalk markers!

For the chalk marker removal, just erase with a damp cloth. But, beware, because these markers ARE PERMANENT ON Painted Walls, PAper, Wood, Concrete, and other porous surfaces. I'd probably be careful around clothing, especially if you love that blouse or trouser set, as well.

Be sure to shake well by holding the cap in place and press the tip onto a hard surface until it fills with ink- known as priming.

To be honest, I found these markers extremely easy to use! I love the versatility of the tabletop chalkboard (and of course, VersaChalk has many other options for both your walls and floor needs), and I hope to use this to not only decorate my home, but as a means to communicate when I host or take food items to parties!
