Holiday Treats From Farm to Your Pet's Stocking!

Have you thought about what your furry 4 legged friends are getting for Christmas? Chachi, my eleven year old shih tzu lhasa apso, lives for treats. Also food. Mostly just treats, though. I know he loves all sorts of chewy goodness, like peanut butter bites, chicken drops, and beef/ duck sticks. It seems like many commerical treats have various fillers in them that aren't great for our feline or canine friends, just like a lot of our own foods have fillers and preservatives.

When I heard about Farm to Pet, I knew that these were treats Chachi needed to try! Farm to Pet aims to provide high quality treats for all dogs using only the best proteins available and no other ingredients! With just one simple ingredient, we know what our dogs are eating when they enjoy their best treats!

So Chachi and I pulled the treats out of the packaging and he immediately starting sniffing away. I'll save some for Christmas morning, but of course, we had to try a few pieces! I have never seen his nose get this excited! The boy actually went INTO the treat bag for more!

We were sent two chicken chip snack packs and a 4 oz bag of chicken chips for our Holiday gift collection. Chicken Chips are made with only chicken and contain 80% crude protein, 3% crude fat, `% crude fiber, and 10% moisure. Made in Chicago, these snack packs contain six chips each.

The recommended guidelines say that pups Chachi's size should get 2-3 chips per day. I had to pull the packaging away from Chachi because he loves these chips! They are crispy, rather than soft, so if your furbaby has teeth sensitities, just be aware. They are not hard like bones, they are just crispy.

The high protein content and low fat means that they are easy on Chachi's stomach and he doesn't seem to have any digestive issues from them. Trust me, Chachi, while he loves food and treats, is also very picky. He might try it once, but I have literally seen him turn his head away and refuse to eat certain food and treat items.

Now, Farm to Pet is solely poutry as they only offer chips in the form of chicken or turkey, but they do have a couple of other bones available for your pup. Check out their ethically sourced elk antlers and treat meal toppers. Elk antlers are said to not splinter and are safe for chewing.  Just sprinkle a bit of dehydrated chicken or turkey topper onto kibble for your pet. I do want to try this because at times, Chachi does refuse to eat his kibble, and sometimes will eat it with toppers.

Some perks I like about Farm to pet are:

  • Free Shipping for orders over $25 (which is almost unheard of in smaller petcare stores. Most have higher shipping fees to cover their costs).
  • Automatic Subscription services for 15%. Ship treats to your door for a time period between every 4-12 weeks. I used to be against auto shipping, but most recently, I've discovered that auto shipping for pet supplies really is the way to go! No more trying to find what you need by going to several different stores who are out of stock of that exact item, and it comes regardless of whether you remember to order or not. I can barely place orders for my own food (its a good thing that I don't have extra mouths in my household to feed), let alone remember Chachi's needs!
  • Reward Chips. Sign up for the rewards program to earn chips by following social media, subscribing to newsletters, placing orders, and more. Chips will eventually help you earn money off of future orders!

This holiday season, be sure to include your pup in the gift-giving and purchase Farm to Pet Chicken or Turkey Chips! I guarantee that they will love these treats and want more! In fact, Chachi is still begging me for more even though he's had enough already!
