Today is my 42nd birthday.  For someone that wishes time away despite my best efforts, I cannot believe I have made it to 42.  I'd like to say I am wiser, but the only thing wise on me is my sense of humor.  I am taking a page from my dad, who always tells people he is 21 with 44 years' experience.  I like that a lot better than being 42.  I know age is just a number, but I feel every one of those years. 

What can I say?  I really have learned, experienced and been through so many things in 42 years.  The one thing I know is that I am stronger than I ever thought I could be.  I am blessed for the time, memories, and events that made me who I am.  I don't regret anything I have done because it led me to who I am now, and I look forward to making more memories.
