We're Going to Universal and Disney, too!

Here's a fun fact about me, I'm almost 37, and I've never been to Disney World! I'm the only one in my family who hasn't been to any Disney park before. I'm not really sure how that happened, but I've been dying to go since I was a little girl, but the timing was never right. However, all of that is about to change!

A few years ago, my sister and I started talking about how we should plan a trip to Disney. It's something that we've been talking about doing, but never pulled the trigger for one reason or another. So fast forward to last week, when I start getting text blasted from Ondria, who says she found a wonderful travel agent and got them a great deal on a trip, only thing is, it's Universal and not Disney. As she was telling me all the details about the resort, park tickets, and how amazing the deal is, a little part of me was sad that it didn't include Magic Kingdom.

After talking with my hubby and sister, we decided to book the trip! Four nights and Five days at Universal, but that's not all! Again, after much discussion, we decided that we are going to add 2 extra nights, and a day at Magic Kingdom before heading home. Now, I know what you're going to say, one day at Magic Kingdom isn't going to be enough. While I agree with you, it probably won't be, you have to understand that my hubby is a massive Harry Potter fan and I quite enjoy it as well. We've been dying to go to HP World since it came to fruition, and I'm so excited to explore every inch of it! Will I get a wand, probably, will I drink Butterbeer, possibly, and will I geek out, you know it!

Now, I'm already planning all of the dumb Disney and Universal shirts I'm going to have made, and the silly pictures we'll take. I'm already panicking about the shoes I'm going to wear, the purse I need to buy, and how should wear my hair, do I buy ears from a small business on Etsy, or do I get them in that park? My anxiety-filled mind is just bouncing from thought to thought, but I've got plenty of time to figure these things out since we won't be heading that way until October. I'm so incredibly excited to go on this trip, the little girl inside of me is trying to keep from bursting with joy!

So, what I'm going to need everyone's help with, are suggestions of what to bring, places and restaurants to go to or avoid, and anything else you think I should know.
