Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

The life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the true reason for the season!

Sometimes, the true to life movies about the Easter story can be a bit too much for younger kids to watch and it's understandable. What Jesus went through is heart-breaking to watch and think about, but it's truth and it's real. Jesus dying on the cross was and will always be the ultimate act of love upon humankind. It's always been important to me that my kids know and understand that what Jesus did was not small thing. John 3:16

For God so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life.

This is just a little note today to give thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who died for me and you and everyone on the cross at Calvary.

But the story didn't end there, because He rose up from the grave on that third day and He lives today.
