Managing Monday

Here we are again Monday. You've been an adversary for too long. It's time to show you your place.  How many of you mama's can agree? 

Sunday nights I struggle to unwind and stay unwound as I know in a few short hours I will be heading into work. I am already planning and preplanning what I need to do for the week.  I work a Monday through Friday day job. By the time I come home my mind is all over the place. I don't want to plan dinner, I'm already tired,  and I still have to adult. I know I'm not the only one that struggles with this. I can't be. 

How do I get past the Monday blues? For starters,  I plan what I am going to wear the night before, I set a play list for the day and I meditate in the morning. This seems to boost my mood and set me in a good place as I face the day. Meal planning for the week also helps a bit. If I prepare for the week, I am less in a position to fight with myself over what I need to be doing and just get it done.

Monday blues are a thing. How do you cope?
