Kaltech My Air is a personal photocatalyst air purifier. When the photocatalytic filter is irradiated with LED light, a strong oxidizing power is generated. This strong oxidizing ability of photocatalysts can be used to decompose odor and organic substances in the air into water and carbon dioxide. 

It delivers purification for the 7 liters of air that a human breathes every minute. It weighs only 75 g (2.6 oz), so you can wear it around your neck using its strap and on a full charge, its battery keeps the unit going for about eight hours. If you are not fond of masks, this is a deodorizing and air-sterilizing device certainly that can be used instead of or along with a mask to help keep you healthy!

The device is easily maintained. You simply take out the filter and soak it in water once every few months. There is no need to replace the filter.

My husband is a college instructor and I got this for him to use daily as added protection from airborne illnesses.  He likes that it is small, sleek, and easy to wear. It is not heavy nor does it flop around when he walks. It was very easy to set up, use, and charge. Another feature he prefers is the ability to clean the filter yourself instead of having to purchase replacement filters. It cleans about 7 liters per minute, the amount of air a person breathes in a minute, blowing the clean air into the wearer's face. He says, "Though I do not have the scientific instruments to prove that it is clearing the air, what blows out of the air purifier does not leave me with any allergy symptoms. I like the added protection from viruses and bacteria that is given when I am in crowded spaces."
