How has already been over a month since our family vacation!? It does feel like our beach trip was forever ago, as we've been incredibly busy getting our ducks in a row to go back to school this week. Now that school is back in session, I can finally look a few weeks ahead on the calendar for our next family trip!

In a few weeks, we'll be heading to the mountains of TN (yay!) to check out one of Margaritaville's newer resorts. I absolutely love the mountains and cannot wait for us to be there together. Our trip will come on the heels of my husband's birthday, and Baby C's 1st birthday, so we'll have a lot to celebrate! There's nothing like being in the mountains in September and October. The air is cooler, the afternoons are still warm enough to be out and about, and there's so much to see and do.

It'll still be summertime, but it will feel like the perfect way to usher in the fall season. I'm hoping we might be able to work in an apple picking trip, too! We'll have two mountain trips in September (one in TN, and then another in NC), and my soul longs for those weekends! I'm happy to have something to look forward to in September... it'll make these last few weeks of August go by quickly.
