Serve Up Freshly Baked Goodness from Wildgrain

I married into a family of bakers nearly fifteen years ago. My husband's grandparents owned a NC bakery, and everyone in the family pitched in as bakers, baking everything from breads to cookies and cakes. My husband is a skilled baker, and has absolutely spoiled our family, leaving us finding it hard to consume baked goods from just anywhere. He is truly a tough critic, and gives me a hard time about purchasing baked goods from stores or online.

The reality is we're busy working parents, and while we desire fresh home-baked goods, we just don't always have the time to spend baking them.

A few weeks ago, I discovered Wildgrain. They bake and ship fresh, but frozen baked goods and kinds of pasta, right to your door. Wildgrain has been gaining many fans across the US, and they have a new fan in me, as well!

I was so intrigued by their offerings, that I just had to give their bread, rolls, and kinds of pasta a try, and have my family try them, too... the ultimate test!

We received a large box of Wildgrain products to try, and I was so excited by the options, I didn't know what to start with!

Absolutely delicious bread- a perfect pairing with any meal!

There were three different breads, rolls, croissants, and kinds of pasta to try out! My Italian heart was leaping at the sight of this delicious feast!

We started off with trying the various Wildgrain breads. Each one had a unique flavor, many of them being a sourdough variety. Each bread loaf was crusty, flaky and fabulous on the outside and soft on the inside. Exactly how good bread should be! We paired the breads and rolls with our dinners over a couple of weeks, enjoying them alone, with butter, or my personal favorite, with olive oil and balsamic nectar. Absolutely delicious, Each one!

My picky kids loved the rolls most of all, and begged for more day after day. The aroma of freshly baked bread wafting through our home delighted our senses.

Croissants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

The croissants were stunning! They went perfectly along with brunch. It's one bread product my husband doesn't make, simply because it's so time-consuming, so the croissants were an absolute treat.

Simply delicious pasta at home!

Pasta, anyone? If you've never experienced fresh pasta, you are truly missing out. Fresh pasta is so silky, you will never want to go back to dried pasta again. Wildgrain pastas are packed in small batches, and while frozen, they retain their fresh taste and texture beautifully! We enjoyed various pastas from Wildgrain, too! Pasta night is a weekly must for our family, and Wildgrain made us feel like we were dining at our favorite NYC restaurant, right at home. How's that for impressive?

Frozen to fresh in just minutes!

With Wildgrain frozen goods, there's no thawing out necessary. Simply place the frozen bread directly on the oven rack in a preheated oven, and bake. I'm twenty minutes or less, you'll have freshly baked bread for any occasion. 

I love having Wildgrain breads on hand in my freezer for company, or for a special touch to add to our dinner.
