Healthy sleep is an important factor in the formation of the nervous system, active growth, and proper development of the baby. During sleep, the very process of growth, the formation of new body structures, and the accumulation of energy take place.

A baby's sleep is different for everyone. Influenced by several factors: physical and psychological condition, daily routine, the temperature in the room, as well as the sleep of an adult. If the baby is healthy, feeling well, active and awake during the day, but sleeps less than recommended, parents do not need to worry.

Tips for improving your baby's sleep

1. It is necessary to establish a clear sleep and rest routine and follow it. A good evening bedtime is between 19:00 and 20:30. At a later time, the child will be too tired, and hard to fall asleep. Plan the daytime nap time at the same intervals each day. To begin with, you can be guided by your child's tiredness and desire to rest. The main thing is that your baby sleeps enough.

2. Form a bedtime ritual. This ritual may include bathing, quiet games, and a lullaby. Kiss your baby and say good night. Regardless of what this ritual will include, it should be performed every night at the same time, in the same order.

3. Organize a favorable light at your baby's bedside. After all, a muted night light acts soothingly for many children and will be needed when you need to look at the baby at night. You can use a night light on the baby monitoring system, as it will not distract the baby.

4. The room in which the baby will sleep should be aired and the temperature (18-21 degrees) and relative humidity should be maintained. These indicators contribute to good and restful sleep.

5. And perhaps the main ritual before bedtime is a hearty and balanced meal, baby. After all, you agree, who would agree to sleep peacefully when you want to eat. If the mother is breastfeeding her baby, it's all pretty simple. If your baby is fed artificially, then you should choose a quality baby formula, which is easily digestible and satiates a small body.

Every baby is different, and over time you will understand what your child likes and what activities are necessary before going to bed. Of course, no matter how much we would like to, the baby will not be able to sleep through the night. This should be approached with humor: "My baby will grow up a little, and I'll catch up. The main thing now. For him to grow up healthy and happy. After all, young children are very sensitive to their mother's emotional state.
