I am naturally drawn to skincare products that moisturize, help with fine lines and wrinkles as well as texture and strengthen my skin. I'll be honest, I had not heard of two of these companies and was so incredibly intrigued. Dr. Zenovia is making major rounds on TikTok and I had to find out for myself what the fuss was all about.
Blue Lagoon and MyKirei are companies that are new to me but quickly have become some of my favorite products in my collection of skincare items.
With Mother's Day coming up next month, I wanted to try out a few products for you so that I could give you my honest review and hopefully help you choose some amazing gifts for the special mom in your life. Firstly, Dr. Zenovia has intrigued me for quite some time. She is a board certified dermatologist that specializes in hormonal skin. Yes, yes and yes! Having had a hysterectomy at 31, I have been fighting hormonal skin for years. I honestly never knew that a skincare line existed that would help with my acne, texture and changing composition. When I was in my 20's, people complimented my skin often. I never had any acne or issues until I hit 30. I can't be the only one! I've been using two Dr. Z products for the last few weeks and am seeing a dramatic change in my skin. These products, along with the Blue Lagoon serum are altering my skin in the most amazing way and I just have to show you!

Now, I know my skin is not horrible in this photo. It's definitely been much worse, but in this picture there is texture, acne, spotting, discoloration and a dullness. I have makeup on here, too! I was trying to cover up the way my skin looked and wasn't very successful. After using the three products I'm discussing today for a few weeks, my skin is visibly different (especially around the chin).
I'm wearing very little face makeup in this picture, mascara and lip color. I seriously cannot believe the changes that I'm seeing and it's only been a few weeks. I am going to completely use these products until they are finished and I have a feeling, my skin is going to look younger, brighter and smoother than it ever has.

This is a bit on the pricey side, so I'm using just a few drops in the morning and at night.
These two gorgeous products are game changers. I won't pretend to understand all of the science behind why they do what they do, but when used together daily, your skin is going to be radiant. The combination of "inflam-aging" night repair treatment and peptide + ceramide moisturizer has removed my bumpy texture. My cheeks have NEVER felt smooth until now I'm kind of shocked to be honest. The last product that comes from a brand that I was not familiar with but now am obsessed with is the MyKirei Yuzu Flower Hand Soap.
Are you kidding me!? Look at how adorable the soap flower is on the hand! My kids run to my bathroom to use my hand soap now. It's not only fun, but this hand soap is so very moisturizing. It's made from yuzu fruit and rice water and is very gentle to the skin. MyKirei by Kao is a company that focuses on living a life of balance, cleanliness, order, simplicity and sustainability. Isn't that beautiful? This brand was born on this premise and the products are amazing. They also sell body care and hair care.
