My friend, you are not the sum of your mistakes. 

I don't know who needs to hear this today, but I know someone does.

When you were created, God did not make a mistake. However, we do make mistakes. We are not perfect. Despite the old mantra, "You're perfect just the way you are."

Spoiler alert: you're not.

We are flawed and we make mistakes, but how amazing to know that God didn't make ONE mistake when He made us! He already knew the ways that we would struggle. He knew the temptations we would face. He has designed you in such a unique way that only you can accomplish and achieve certain things. Are you going to mess up your path now and again? Yes, of course you are because you're not perfect and neither is anyone else. 

The great thing about being imperfect? GRACE.

We know how to give it. We know we need it. It's the most beautiful gift we can give one another.
