Bubble tea has taken the world by storm! It is a fun choice of drink and Pearly makes it easy to make it yourself at home!

You may ask, what is bubble tea? Bubble tea is a cold, flavored tea beverage that contains large chewy tapioca balls. It is a Taiwanese drink referred to by several different names, including boba tea, pearl milk tea, boba milk tea, bubble milk tea, or simply boba.

What are tapioca balls made of? “Tapioca is a starch extracted from the cassava root. It is used as a thickening agent in many foods. It can be made into flour -- it has a similar texture to cornstarch -- which is oftentimes used in gluten-free bread. It can also be made into pearls in varying sizes.” (Huffington Post)
