At the end of 2019, my sisters and I were going to do a a sisters bookclub. Covid came and took over the world and we didn't get to do it. 2020 was a nightmare and despite having 6 months off to read, my depression kept me from enjoying it. 2021 was better and I managed to read a lot, but according to my Goodreads goal, I was far off my goal. 2022 has to be better. I set my goal to read 50 book this year and am happy to report I already have 5 books under my belt.
I tend to read a lot of mysteries, 2nd chance at love books, or books where the cover art catches my attention. I am up for recommendations, but I have one for you. It's an oldie, but it was am amazing read. The Art of Happiness by the Dalai Lama.
I listened to this via the Libby app that browses all the libraries in CT. I love the Libby app because it brings new styles of reading into my life. The best part is it is free and only requires you to have a library card. Happy reading.
