Christmas Eve Wishes

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

The stockings are hung on the chimney with care...

The gifts are wrapped. The puppy is worn out from the all the busy shenanigans her humans have been up to. My two little boys, ages 9.5 and dangerously close to 11 are beyond excited for Christmas morning to arrive. New jammies are washed and ready to be worn. The eggs, bacon, biscuits and cinnamon rolls are ready to be devoured along with some strong coffee and delicious creamers.

My family is well. We are not one of the ones struggling with sickness over Christmas and having to quarantine from family members. My prayers are with all of those who may be sick or have lost a loved one this year. For many, Christmas time is filled with difficult memories and a deep longing. If that is you, please know I've prayed for you. I've thought of you. I do hope you experience peace this Christmas in some small way.

I think about that day in Bethlehem when a precious baby was born into a makeshift cradle, outside in a stable. A day that would forever change history. The baby born that day who was Jesus, the son of God, the Messiah and the Great I Am. The Prince of Peace and King of Kings came into this world and because of that selfless plan, you and I can have eternal life in Heaven!

Most of us will open some gifts tomorrow or watch as others do. We will see joy on faces and happiness will likely fill the room. What I hope and pray today on this Christmas Eve is that we each remember that Jesus was the greatest gift of all. All we have to do is receive Him.
I hope you are able to smile on Christmas and know that you are loved!

Blessings,
