Crave Brothers Cheese Goes Great With Any Holiday Meal #MBPHGG21 #Review

This holiday season, if you are looking for ways to liven up your family gatherings, look no further than Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese Co. This Wisconsin- based farm definitely knows how to make it's cheese!

From cheese curds to mascarpone, there is something for the cheese lover to consume and love this holiday season. I've loved Crave Bros since I've found out about them.. and the best part is, they make their own cheese from the milk from their own cows! Growing up on my great aunt + great uncle's farm makes me realize the importance of supporting our family-operated farms in the best ways that we can do so.

So, why Crave Brothers? Their cheese is made from sustainable farming practices. They own their own cattle, raise their cattle, milk their cattle, and make their cheese using milk pumped from the milking barn to the cheese factory via a steel pipe. Honestly- I think that's so cool- that they have discovered a way to transport the milk efficiently as well!

With three generations of the Crave Family running the farm, the cheese business continues to grow and thrive. Crave Brothers is well-known for their mascarpone cheese, which is a luxurious whipped cream based cheese. It's used in sweet desserts, sauces, and even soups! My favorite use for mascarpone is Tiramisu!

Another Crave Bros favorite is fresh mozzarella. Marinated Mozzarella isn't exactly a favorite of mine, but Crave Bros definitely does it right! Regular Fresh Mozzarella is available in ball, logs, and even ropes.

The Crave Cheese Sampler

I received the Crave Bros Sample Box. It arrives with 2 12 inch coils of the Farmers Rope Mozzarella String Cheese (which I know will be a favorite of my niece and nephew!), 1 12 oz package of cheese curds, 1 8-oz container of marinated mozzarella, and 2 8-oz containers of Fresh Mascarpone (one chocolate one!) . At $22.99, this gift box is PERFECT for the cheese loving family!

If your family likes sweeter gifts, then I suggest the Crave Mascarpone Caramel Sauce with Candied Pecans gift-set. With a container of candied pecans and 2 8-oz containers of fresh mascarpone cheese, there are so many options that can be made with this set! Typically, this gift-set arrives with a recipe to make caramel sauce with the pecans.

I also received recipes for the Chocolate Mascarpone Pie and the Mascarpone, Fig, Sweet Onion, and Candied bacon pizza! Of course, outside of a Chocolate mascarpone pie, I would also make traditional tiramisu- or even use the mascarpone as a dip with fruit! Okay, let's talk about those cheese curds I mentioned above. Fresh Cheddar Cheese curds can be used in just about anything- tacos, soups, hamburgers, breads, potatoes. Yep, you name the use for cheese, these can be used! But why cheese curds? This Wisconsin delectable uses fresh cheese to make these bite-sized snacks. They really should be eaten as soon as possible, when they are fresh and springy. Crave Bros cheese curds often depends on availability, but are definitely great to add to any recipe!
