Yep! We all know that person that requires a second cup of coffee before you can handle their energy and positivity! Luckily, Well-Bean Coffee Roasters has them wrapped up in a cuppa joe to get your day started so you can be right there with them in no time!

Well-Bean is a woman-owned coffee roaster and social enterprise. Their proceeds support health and spiritual initiatives in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua through the organization, New Song Mission Nicaragua. Profits help run rural medical-dental clinics, health supplement distribution, and feeding programs. When you buy from Well-Bean you give a gift of health to those in need and you support woman entrepreneurs in the male-dominated coffee industry.

Not only that, but by working directly with Nicaraguan farmers (instead of working through brokers), they were able to see with their own eyes the benefits of direct trade. The farmers get 50% more pay compared to other farmers in the area.

Positive Nancy is a smooth, yet flavorful medium roast. It is rainforest alliance certified, and organically grown in the high mountains of Honduras. It is small-batch roasted and packaged with a degassing valve and zipper to ensure it stays fresh as long as possible! This coffee has the natural flavor combination of raw peanuts, cacao, & red apple.

When I made Positive Nancy I made it in my french press. It is a medium roast and had a sweet, fruity aroma as it steeped. Upon first taste, the coffee drinkers in my house described it as tangy, fruity, and sweet. Overall it is a good cuppa joe, however, it was a little too tangy for me. My husband really enjoyed it. We would for sure brew it again though!
