Memory Blanket

Do you have lots of old t-shirts lying around? These could be t-shirts that your kids have grown out of, rock concert shirts, race runner t-shirts, or any other shirt that holds good memories. If yes, then you are in the perfect position to create a t-shirt memory blanket. Not only do these make great heartfelt gifts, but they also help to lower your impact on the environment. You can also do memory blankets for sale which is a great idea.

Concerned about your sewing skills? Or lack of them. Don’t worry, Myt-shirtblanket.com is exactly what you need. Simply send away your t-shirts, and they will take care of the rest. In the meantime, you can work on your sewing skills.

Balloon Arch

Balloon arches can look amazing and are ideal for celebrating any special occasion. Unfortunately, they are also very expensive. Unless, of course, you learn how to make one yourself.

Although they may look elaborate once up, balloon arches are actually fairly easy to make and you only need a few supplies to get started. Choose whatever size, shape, and colors to fit your party’s theme and enjoy the shocked look on your guests’ faces when you reveal you made it yourself.

Scented Soap

Another one of life’s little luxuries that can be expensive to buy, especially if you favor an artisan brand, scented soap is actually very easy to make yourself. All you need is some goat’s milk melt, silicone soap molds, and your chosen scent. Lavender is always a great choice because not only does it smell gorgeous, but it also helps to promote good sleep.

For maximum impact, use lavender oil and dried lavender.

Organizer Board

If you love nothing more than a chilled glass of wine in the evening, then you probably have more than your fair share of wine corks going spare. This simple and original craft project offers the perfect way to use up old wine corks and to stay organized.

You will need a large supply of wine corks, as well as a large paper Mache box, some rope for hanging, and a few other art supplies.

Marbled Mugs

Transform dull and uninspiring white mugs into eye-catching, colorful ones using only nail polish and some Mod Podge for sealing. Simply pour a few drops of nail polish into a container of boiling water, swirl using toothpicks and then dip in your mug. Leave to dry and then paint with dishwasher-safe Mod Podge to extend their life.

Nb: This does not mean that these mugs are dishwasher safe. They should still be washed by hand.
