Janice Covey, PharmD. created what is now her Goody, Goody Grapefruit Lotion Bar to help with her first-born's eczema. As a pharmacist, she knew the side effects that come with using a corticosteroid on children and wasn't thrilled with using steroid creams on her daughter. They only "cure" eczema for a short period of time before it reoccurs. She began to research natural ways to soothe the eczema. She created the lotion bar free of preservatives that irritate already sensitive skin, with shea butter and olive oil to moisturize and soothe the skin, candelilla wax to create a protective barrier and grapefruit peel essential oil to calm and soothe irritated skin. Since using the lotion bar after her baths, her daughter has been eczema free for the last five years.

I was excited to try these amazing products! The Goody Goody Grapefruit Foaming Hand Soap smells divine! It leaves my hands refreshed and clean. I really like the travel size I received because I can carry it in my purse for when we are out and about and there is no soap in the restrooms - we have all experienced that at one time or another! With COVID out there still, it is imperative to keep those little and big hands as clean as possible!

The Herbal Fresh Lotion Bar not only smells amazing with its combination of rosemary and spearmint, but it is so luxurious as it glides on and soaks in your skin, making it silky smooth. The spearmint also has a cooling effect which is wonderful during these hot and humid summers we have in North Carolina.

BUGS and SUMMER go hand in hand! Why not use Kosmatology's all natural, organic Bug Repellent Skin Balm? It consists of a mixture of herbs and essential oils which all have been shown to repel insects the natural way. Although humans enjoy the scent of herbs such as rosemary, thyme, lemon and lavender, bugs do not. This bug repellent keeps bugs away the natural way and moisturizes your skin with a combination of shea butter and coconut oil. This is my husband's go to for outdoor work! He enjoys the scent and really likes that the bugs leave him alone. He doesn't feel like he MUST shower off after using it like with the DEET products we have used in the past! It is also safe for use on children and will be our main source of bug repellent on our trips this summer because it travels so easily!
