I pick books on a whim.  I choose them based on the appeal of the title, the cover, or the author.   This week, I am reading In an Instant by Suzanne Redfearn.  I was captivated by the title because over the last year it feels like things have changed in an instant for me.  I am sure all of us can relate on some level.  I am not the same person I was a year ago.  I am stronger.  I am braver. I am learning how to be me.

The premise of the novel is going through life after loss.  Life is but a compilation of moments and instances that build you or destroy you.  Life is short to live with regrets or go through the motions just because it is expected.
