4 Ways To Take Time Out for Yourself

Taking care of yourself is something that many people neglect to do. It's not just about eating well and getting enough sleep; it's also about taking time out for yourself. We spend our whole lives running around trying to take care of others, but the truth is that we can't do anything if we don't take time to look after ourselves first!

In this blog post, you will learn how important self-care is and how you can create a better life by practicing more self-love. Taking time out for YOURSELF is essential for all moms!

Get up early and set the tone for your day! Read a book, write in your journal or meditate. You can even do some light exercise to get started on your fitness goals before everyone else wakes up.

Consider what you are grateful for as soon as possible in the morning to set your tone. This may seem like an easy task, but when we get lost in our day-to-day activities and forget about how important it is to take time out of each day just for ourselves, there's nothing better than being able to remind yourself with a quick note that will help us focus on taking care of "us" first before anyone else.

Believe it or not, even a quick shower can be the best way to relax and unwind! Take as much time for yourself in there - use this opportunity to reflect on your day so far. Or imagine how you want today's events will unfold. This is an awesome chance to set up positive vibes that'll last throughout the rest of your day!

You could also have a relaxing bubble bath if you're feeling like treating yourself (or need some extra chill time). If bubbles are your thing, then go ahead and add lavender essential oil into the mix: It’s soothing without being overpowering.

Before bed, it is important to set time aside for yourself to get ready and relax before going to sleep. Some ways you can do this are by journaling, reading a book, or watching an ocean documentary narrated by David Attenborough (something I do, LOL).

This will allow your mind to process what happened during the day, which in turn helps prepare you for sleeping through the night because when we feel relaxed, our body knows that it's finally safe and at rest, so there isn't any need to be alert anymore!

If you're stuck in a rut or feeling the stresses of life getting to be too much, why not consider taking an adventure with yourself? Why not go on a weekend road trip out of state for some new sights and experiences. Pack your bags and get ready to live! Try new foods, see different places, and experience as many new things that you want - have FUN!

If you are feeling stressed out, it might be time to set aside some time for yourself. You can try one or all of the tactics listed in this blog post to get a little bit of time for your own needs and sanity. The most important thing is that you permit yourself to do whatever feels good at any given moment- even if it’s just sitting quietly with no distractions on hand! How have you taken care of yourself lately? What would help make taking time for self more possible?

How do you balance taking care of yourself with everything else life throws at a mom? Try my tips and tricks; they might help!

My take on SELF CARE is it is essential! My kids are 17 & 19 now, and it took me all these years to figure out that it was OK to think about me every so often. I'm a mom, so I take care of everyone else and totally forgot about myself- I regret that a lot. I went through several years of depression and health issues because I didn't listen to my body and mind. Please take the time to care for yourself.

Take the time to care for your mind, body, and soul by setting aside time every day just for you! You'll feel refreshed and ready to take on life again in no time.
