Good deeds are something we can all aspire to do.  Today, is National Good Deeds Day and I am struggling with something to do that is selfless and meaningful.  I have to admit sometimes I can be a little selfish but it is days like today that I sit and fully understand that if everyone was selfish everyday that the world wouldn't be filled with good. 

Today, I will be going through my household goods to see what I can donate to the Veteran's homes for people just starting out.  I have all these dishes, pots, pans, and glassware that would do well in a new home.  They are unused and taking up so much room.  I'd also like to go through my wardrobe to donate unused clothing.  You know what they say... If you haven't worn it in 6 months it's time for a new home.
