2021- 1 Month Down 11 to Go



 I don't like to be the person that wishes time would move but I find myself wishing it more often than not.  We tend to always wish for a brighter day, a new start, or simply looking forward to a moment that is set in the future.  As I sit at work each week, I find myself wishing for the weekend to just be myself and refresh my brain and my spirit.  I will have instances of regret because instead of finding the beauty of the day or the current moments I am apt to ignore it or not see it at all.
I struggle with wanting to be the support person for everyone else and find at times this is draining.  I look so forward to days where I don't have to be there for anyone else.  Does anyone else feel like this sometimes?  Do you wish for days that just go your way and any days that don't just pass like a bad memory?  How do you get through it?

I'd love to know I am not the only one, but I know saying something can come across as selfish.  As moms are we allowed to be selfish?  I struggle with that and I can bet there are a few of you that do too.  Guess what?  It is ok to take time for yourself to refresh because you cannot be your best self when you are drained emotionally and physically.  Be forgiving to yourself because at the end of the day you are making the world spin for those that love you even on your worst days.
