Weekends with the Wigglesworths- It's Time for our Holiday Crafting/Baking to Begin!

Happy Saturday, friends. It's the first weekend of December and I'm hoping to get some holiday baking and crafting started. I've been watching one too many videos (down that TikTok rabbit hole) with all of these really great Christmas DIY  ideas that I want to try with the girls. Now that it's the weekend and we are back down to 2 kiddos in the house and there is another adult here, I'm also thinking it's a great time to start baking cookies for the holiday. We had a 'test run' the other day with chocolate chip cookies, but I'm really wanting to get a head start on the cookies that I've only made a few times, but I kind of love the most....spritz cookies.

I first made spritz cookies back in 2015. I don't really remember it too well, perhaps because I was always focused on her "Heavenly Hash",  but my Grandmom made them during the holidays and I thought it might be a nice tradition to carry on. Because they are a little more involved than I am used to (the only cookies I've ever used a press for), I haven't been able to keep up with the tradition, but I'm willing to give it another go this year.

Now, the last thing I need in this house is cookies, but I guess it will be a good way to strengthen my will power. Worst case scenario, I'll become a "cookie fairy" and drop cookies off to friends and family in the area.

Have you started any holiday baking or crafting yet? I'd love to hear about your projects so be sure to leave a comment and tag us in your photos on social media
