Warm up with a Ginger Milk Tea!

December has officially brought the cooler weather to eastern North Carolina! Often left out, we typicaly see warmer temps through most of the fall and well into the winter, with a few artic days blasting us here and there!

With temps dropping into the 30's last night, I thought it's the perfect time to try out a new tea recipe!

Warm Ginger Milk Tea will soothe the soul and even the sugar cravings! Grab your favorite mug, your favorite teabag (or loose leaf will do too!), milk, honey, and pumpkin pie + ground ginger spices for this wonderful creation!

Recipe:

Combine 1 tsp of Honey with 3/4 c. Milk, a big pinch of pumpkin pie spice, and a big pinch of ground ginger into your favorite microwaveable mug. Stir to mix together!

Place your favorite mug into the microwave for 45 seconds - 1 minute. Milk should not be boiling but hot! After removing from the microwave, add your favorite tea bag to the mixture. Steep your tea for 2-3 mins, remove the bag, stir, and enjoy your favorite drink!

Don't forget, you can always change out the spices to those you like more? Add ginger, allspice, and even cinnamon to the mixture!

What's your favorite drink to make when the weather turns cooler?
