E has been home on leave for the last 2 weeks, today he went back to his first duty station. I am so all over with my feelings, because the best part of my life is being a mom. I hate to admit that I will be happy to go back to not feeling the need to baby him.
We had a blast the last 2 weeks. So many memories made and time well spent. After such a hectic year I needed to be with him and I am so glad that it worked out and I was able to hug him.
Of course, I have to end his visit being typical Jess the klutz by straining my ankle and my wrist. Well, at least he knows some things will never change. Mom will always be a klutz.
