Happy, STILL Happy Thanksgiving!

As you prepare for a holiday that may look quite different than years past, remember that even in the change, there is cheer.

Even in the challenge, there is celebration.

Even in the new, there is a never before felt urge to capture the moment.

Even in the midst of the unknown, we have one another.

As I think about this holiday and what it means to me, I'm reminded of Thanksgiving 2019. My family spent the week in Orlando, Florida. The pandemic had not yet happened and we blissfully had no idea what was just around the corner. We spent the day at Gatorland and met so many different reptiles!

It's memories like this one that remind me how special holidays are. However, it's Thanksgiving 2020 that reminds me that no matter what our circumstances, we can make the most of the time we have. If you are unable to spend time with family on this day, take heart. I would encourage you to facetime with whomever it is you would normally visit with. Try the marco polo app to send quick videos back and forth with friends and family. There are ways to stay connected, even virtually. It's not much, but if it's all we have, it will have to be enough.

This will not be forever. We will make it through this. If you're struggling during the holidays because of loss, depression or loneliness, I want you to know that you are never alone! You can drop a comment below and I will be sure to include you in my prayers. You are loved and needed in this world. You play a part with NO understudy in this life and I hope and pray that your holiday season is filled with love. I pray you make new memories and maybe even begin a new tradition or two.

Blessings to you and yours,
