Happy Saturday and Halloween, friends! This is usually one of my favorite days of the year, but this year it's a little bit different. Okay, it's very different, but it's still one of my favorite days of the year.

There are no plans for today, other than the costumes the girls will wear. D will be dressed as a werewolf and R will be dressed as Daphne from Scooby Doo. Although the girls will be dressing up, we won't be taking them trick or treating. I feel an absurd amount of "mom guilt" over this, even though I know it is for the best. We'll likely just take them to visit some family, get some pictures, and then head home to make Feet Loaves and potaTOES for dinner. After dinner, we'll spend some time watching a few of our favorite Halloween Movies and digging into some of the Halloween candy we stocked up on last week at BJs. I've been "taste-testing" it all week, it tastes almost as good as the free candy you get trick or treating 😉

 

2020 has been quite a year and even though I get "caught in my feelings" about that from time to time, I'm going to keep doing my absolute best to make sure I can make the "little things" as joyful as possible.
