Here at Mommy's Block Party, we are fortunate enough to introduce our readers to some products you may otherwise never know about. This is the case for me with Cheeky Spices. I am always on the hunt for new flavors that help enhance the flavor of the meal I am making.
I am a picky eater and have been for as long as I can remember. I wasn't exposed to new foods a lot when I was a kid so I am the person that will refuse to try something new just because I don't want to get sick from it or I worry about the taste. I experience some digestion issues since having my gallbladder removed a few years back and certain spices don't agree with me. I am happy to announce that Cheeky Spices are produced in an allergen-free facility which includes nuts, dairy, glutton, and alliums which tend to be harsh on the tummy.
I was hesitant when I had the opportunity to reach work with Cheeky Spices, but I am glad that I did. Not only does the spice packets come with some recipes on them, but they come in resealable packets that allow me to replicate the recipes that I find delicious. The recipes are easy to follow and I was amazed at how little I needed to use to make a very satisfying meal.
My first meal was with The Silk Road and it did not disappoint. I followed the recipe on the back and served over Ramen noodles and I loved it. Not too spicy, but flavorful for using just a tablespoon. It says there are about 8 servings in each packet, but I think you can get more than that out of each packet especially if you only use half the recommended amount. I may just try tofu for the first time if I can get it to taste as good as the chicken did.
The flavor profile indicates that Silk Road is an Asian fusion blend that is great for white meat, red meat, or fish, and vegetables. I did chicken for the first attempt and I was extremely impressed with the flavor. I am so happy to have been introduced to something that not only tastes delicious but is easy on my stomach. I highly recommend Cheeky Spices and will be a customer for life.
