Happy Saturday, friends! We are celebrating a mini family staycation at Matt's parents' house this weekend, along with his brothers and their families. It's always a blast to get all the cousins together and boy oh boy are they having a good time, To think, money was almost wasted on a resort! 

Last Christmas, Matt's parents gifted a stay at a local resort to each member of the family. Due to safety concerns, plans ended up being changed, but the kids are having a blast regardless. In fact, they are probably having more fun at Grandpa's and Grandma's place than they would at the resort. They'll probably end up getting a lot more spoiled here too, but that's what Grandparents are for, right? 

In addition to the fun the kids are having, the adults are having a good time too. Matt doesn't get to spend too much time with his brothers. Between everyone's crazy work schedules and the fact that one brother lives out of state, they only really see each other over the summer (when work schedules slow down a very little bit) and the major holidays. I love watching them be goofy with one another, acting a little like they may have as children, but still being the adult in their interactions with their nieces and nephews.
