Cory and I just wrapped up a 10-day vacation with my side of the family. We headed to Oak Island, NC and enjoyed a week of leisurely beach and family time. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed ourselves, but a few days into our trip, I really started to miss our dogs. Now, for some people, their dogs are just that, dogs. However, for us, our dogs are our kids. I love them with all of my heart and it is really hard to leave them for so long. 

We got home late Saturday evening and that meant that we had to wait until Monday to pick them up. It's so frustrating that our Vet doesn't do pickups on Sunday, but we honestly needed that day to get caught up on everything else. Once Monday rolled around, I couldn't wait to go pick up my pups! After the craziness of picking them up, we were home. There was a lot of tail wagging, kisses, puppy hugs, and zoomies! I was elated to see them so happy and to that, they still love me just as much as I love them. 

I can't explain to you how happy I was on Monday, to see them play together, get caught up with the neighbor pups, and then take a nap together on the couch. I loved my family vacation time, but having the best dogs in the world, makes coming home a little easier!
