Summer Is Even Sweeter With Sugarpova, #MBPSUMMER20

It's no secret that I love candy, or really anything sweet for that matter. If I could live off of sugar, I would, but for me, that just can't happen. I have several health issues that keep me from eating a lot of sugar, and that makes me sad. When I do want something, I want to make sure that I am choosing products that are better for me, rather than grabbing a candy bar off the shelf. So, when I was first introduced to Sugarpova, I wanted to know more about them and their candies.

When Maria Sharapova was searching for the World's Best Sweets, she remembered back to when she was younger eating her Grandma's treats as a reward for a long day of practice. Realizing you can have Moderation in Moderation, she created Sugarpova which you are able to indulge in without the guilt. Sugarpova sells many different types of candy like their chocolates that are full of antioxidants, or the gummies made with real fruit flavors and vegetable extracts, and many more. On their site, they have a vast array of candy to enjoy including Gummies, Chocolate Bars, Truffles, and Gumballs. Sugarpova was kind enough to send me four different types of Gummies, four Chocolate Bars, and Two bags of Truffles.

Yummy, Gummies!

I am a huge lover of gummy candy, so when I saw that they had really interesting gummy flavors, I knew I had to try them out. All in all, Sugarpova has five different types of gummies, and I was able to try four of them;

All are made from natural, no artificial flavors, gluten-free, and no sugar alcohols. I'm so glad that they are made this way because I really struggle with a lot of artificial sweeteners that stem from sugar alcohols, they are a huge stomach irritant for me, but these aren't! The gummies are packed with flavor, each one having its own unique profile that is easy to eat. The Sour gummies and the Strawberry Cream gummy are coated in a light dusting of sugar that really compliments the taste of the gummy. The sour flavors are not too sour, and none of the gummies are too sweet. They are evenly balanced with acid and sweetness, and I enjoyed every one of them. If I had to pick a favorite, it would probably be the grapefruit, it was so light and refreshing and really enveloped the taste of citrus.

Yummy, Truffles!

Next up are the Truffles! Sugarpova offers seven different types of truffles including;

I was able to try out the Cookies and Cream, and Strawberry and Cream, White Chocolate Truffles. Now, it was extremely hot the day the candy was delivered, and unfortunately for me, my home is one of the last on the UPS delivery route. Even with them being packed with cooler packs, they were still a bit melted. But, I popped them into the fridge for the evening and let them firm up a bit before trying them. I took them out the next morning to let them get to room temperature, and then I was able to try them. And, boy-oh-boy, they did not disappoint. The Cookies and Cream were so good, with its subtle chocolate cookie flavor mixed into the white chocolate, that just melts in your mouth. It's so yummy, I had to stop myself from cramming them all into my mouth at once, lol! Now, the Strawberry and Cream was such a beautiful combination of flavors, I felt like I was eating a chocolate covered strawberry, I couldn't believe the flavor. I just wished that I had a nice glass of champagne to enjoy these with. They'd make an excellent treat at a bridal shower, and wish they had been at mine 12 years ago!

Chocolate!!

The last of my assortment was Chocolate Bars, and let me tell you, I saved the best for last! Sugarpova offers four different Chocolate bars;

Cookies and Cream, White Chocolate Bar-$3.50

Coconut, Dark Chocolate-$3.50

Each of the chocolate bars has its own distinct taste and flavor that makes them delectable. No bar is overly sweet, and they are packed with antioxidants that are great for your health. There's no waxy taste to them at all, and they aren't too rich, which makes them so good. I'm a big fan of chocolate, and they are all delicious, but my favorite would have to be the Orange, Dark Chocolate bar. I grew up eating orange chocolate and it brought me right back to my childhood, it was and is, incredible! These are large bars of chocolate, coming in at 3.5oz, so there is plenty of chocolate to share with friends, or not!

My family is headed to the beach in a week, and I plan to bring all the extra candy with me to share with them. I know my nephew, B, will love the Sour Blue Raspberry Gummy Lips, and S, my niece will devour the chocolate! I plan to use the rest of the Coconut, Dark Chocolate to make smores, and use the rest of the Cookies and Cream bar to make hot chocolate! I love the candy so much, and I can't wait for them all to try it, too. We all love sweets but have been trying to eat healthier and cut back where we can. Sugarpova is a great way for us to still have a sweet treat, but know that what we are putting in our bodies is good for us!

If you're not into chocolate or gummies, they also have Gumballs, which look really good! All of the candy from Sugarpova is good for you, made with ingredients that you don't have to worry about. They would make perfect pool day treats, or a reward after working hard on a Summer project. We'll enjoy the rest as we relax on the beach, and enjoy Summer nights by the firepit, making smores! However you decide to enjoy them, you won't be disappointed!
