Weekends with the Wigglesworths- Time for a Little Reboot

Happy Saturday, friends! I hope that you had a wonderful week and that you are prepared for the weekend ahead. Today, we're supposed to get a little snow, so I'm taking the opportunity to use today as a "reboot" day.
I've been working pretty diligently in the last few days to cut down on clutter. I do it every year, around this time, but something feels different about it this year. I'm feeling more determined and actually looking forward to the process. I've recently gone through all of my e-mail accounts and now I have near-empty inboxes. I cannot tell you how soothing it is to see just a few e-mails where there used to be hundreds, if not thousands!

After the e-mails, I decided to tackle my text messages and voicemails. I'm not sure why I keep either as long as I do. It's a bizarre thing really, but I'm working on it. Today though, I'm tackling something physical, and that's the stuff in the kitchen. I'm talking cabinets, refrigerator, and freezer. I don't know how much there is to get rid of, but there is TONS to organize. The idea of the task is overwhelming, but no more so than looking in an over-packed cabinet or a largely unorganized refrigerator.

The real trick here today is to stay motivated and do the work. I have 3 books that I recently checked out from the library and only 1 of them has been read. The other two are beckoning to me, encouraging me to make myself a cup of coffee, lay up under a cozy blanket on the couch, choosing one of them to curl up with. I'll probably start with the oldest one first.....but AFTER  I at least start my kitchen project.

Have a spectacular Saturday!
