For starters, I'm heading to the library. Last week I checked out 3 books and I've already read them all, so I have to get new ones. This week, I noticed how bizarre my reading habits are. Either I read like a madwoman and go through books in the course of a day or two, or I talk about how much I love to read, but just can't find the time. Guess where I found the time? In the morning after the kids went to school and before I went to work, when I got home from work but before the kids got home from school, after dinner, before bed and any free moment I could find in between all of that.

I read my first book of the year, Before We Were Yours, for our "Sisters' Book Club". I borrowed it from the library, along with 2 books by Judy Blume (a happy surprise to find out that she wrote/writes adult fiction also). Once I finished our book club book, I read Wifey first (since it was written first) and then Summer Sisters. I was a little bummed once I finished reading all of the books, but thankfully my Gram had convinced me to take a copy of James Patterson's Swimsuit from her house when we visited on Monday. I finished that one last night. 

After the library, I'm heading to my sister's house for our book club meeting. I'm excited to chat about the book we all just read and to start our new one, JoJo Meyers' The Giver of Stars.
