Happy Saturday, friends! Today is the official first day of our holiday break (well, 3 out of the 4 of us, Matt will have to work 2 days next week) and we are (mostly) so excited. I'm feeling a little anxious because while I have nearly all of the holiday shopping done, I still have to wrap all of the presents and there are only 4 days until Christmas!
I probably should have used a few of the snow days we've already had this school year (5 total!) to get some of this work done, but I was too busy enjoying time with my girls. We started an ornament craft, we baked banana pecan bread and peanut butter chocolate chip pecan cookies, we watched Christmas movies, we played card games, and we just had fun together. It was totally worth the time we spent together making memories to have to scramble the next few days to get gifts wrapped.
So, aside from the mad dash to the store to pick up wrapping paper and a few other necessities for the upcoming holiday season, I'll be busy working on making more memories with my family.
