I love to cook but I am not much of a baker and have never made a pie until I found this one.  I was flipping through a magazine at school and tearing out pages for an art project.  I saw a picture of a beautiful pie that looked exactly like a pie my sweet grandmother used to make.  I checked out the recipe and decided I could do it.  

1 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons flour 

dash of salt

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 teaspoo butter flavoring

1 teaspoon vanilla 

2/3 cup milk

1 piecrust, unbaked

Mix all ingredients until creamy.  Pour into piecrust.  Bake at 300 for 30 minutes or until set.

(I have made this 2x and both times mine had to bake about an hour before it set.)

This pie is super easy to make.  And very good.  I took it to two different Christmas functions and had none to bring home either time.  I hope you will give it a try and enjoy!
