Spreading Hope This Holiday Season With These Gifts That Feed The Soul #MBPHGG19

Thanks to Headbands of Hope and Rend Co Kids for providing product for me to review. All thoughts shared are my own.

Encouragement, support, love and gratitude.
I've had these words swirling around in my mind the last few months as I know the Christmas season is approaching and I want my friends and family to feel the impact of those words.

As you are diving into holiday shopping, I invite you to take a pause with me and explore some ideas that will make a difference in the hearts and lives of those on the receiving end!

I've mentioned before that I like to give gifts that have a story. You can go into Target and pick up something cute for someone in your life and I'm sure they will love it, but if you're looking for a bit more depth and meaning to the gifts you give, you've come to the right place today!

Recently, I lost someone that I loved very much to cancer and this has made me aware of companies that are helping to fill a void in the lives of those affected by this disease. When I read about Headbands of Hope, I was really touched by their mission and also how the company came about. I want to share with you how this amazing company started so you can see why I fell in love with it!

"Believe it or not, our founder's story starts in the most magical place on earth...Disney World! When Jess Ekstrom was in college, she decided to take an internship in Disney World as a photographer. When she was there, she got to photograph so many sweet kids that were there on their wish from various wish-granting organizations for kids with life-threatening illnesses. When she returned to school her sophomore year, she decided to intern for a wish-granting organization. When she was there, Jess noticed a lot of kids wearing headbands after losing their hair to chemotherapy. She found out that no one was providing those headbands to the kids.  To fulfill this need, Jess created Headbands of Hope during her junior year of college at North Carolina State University.

"Chasing the Bright Side" headband $18.95 (adjustable from baby to adult)

For every headband she'd sell, she'd donate one to a child with cancer.  Headbands of Hope was born and as a result, Headbands of Hope has donated headbands to every children's hospital in America and 15 countries! Isn't this phenomenal?! Encouragement, support, love and gratitude are some themes for this holiday season as I stated above and Headbands of Hope surely embodies these words.

The creator of this beautiful company has also written a book called, "Chasing the Bright Side". By visiting the Chasing the Bright Side website, you can get some pretty amazing perks that are just in time for holiday shopping!

These are some amazing perks! If you have a special lady in your life, you cannot go wrong with any of the products from these collections. You're helping to make a difference and giving an incredibly adorable gift at the same time.

I love my new headband and tee! You can pick up any of the Chasing The Bright Side products on the website. The tee is super soft and comfortable. From what I've read of the book so far, it's very inspirational and any of these items are going to make perfect Christmas gifts. Check out some of the other adorable products from Headbands of Hope:

The grey Baby Turban is $16.95

The items for baby are absolutely adorable! This is the vintage headband (adjustable to fit baby to adult) and swaddle set which sells for $33.25.
There are so many beautiful items from baby wear to adult. The fabric is amazingly soft and feels luxurious. There is truly something for everyone on your list this holiday season. I hope you've enjoyed hearing about Jess Ekstrom's Headbands of Hope and are intrigued by her new book, "Chasing the Bright Side". I love the mission and also love supporting such an amazing company. Thank you to our friends at Headbands of Hope!

Staying on the same page and wanting to explore and discover companies that feed the soul, I recently discovered a children's worship CD that is a big hit with kids and adults alike. If you enjoy contemporary Christian music, Rend Collective is a name you're most likely familiar with. "Counting Every Blessing" is frequently played on the radio and my kids and I love to sing along. As much as we love Rend Collective, they are introducing Rend Co Kids that caters to the younger population. They have dropped a new album called, "Sparkle. Pop. Rampage."

Wanting to appeal to kids and grown ups, Sparkle.Pop.Rampage was created and it's a huge hit. My kids and I have been listening to this CD and we love the track, "King of Me". They are all catchy songs with an incredible message in every single line. You can bop along with your kids, knowing they are hearing all about God in the lyrics! Honestly, if you have kiddos or KNOW a kiddo, you need this CD in the car. The joy it brings is contagious. In fact, I dare you to stay sour after jamming along to some of the tracks on this album! You can pick it up online for only $9.99 and it features 13 amazing songs.

You can also grab the new books, "My Lighthouse" and "King of Me" as well as the CD in a bundle for $29.99.

My Lighthouse Hardcover Book:
A story about adventure, getting lost and learning how to appreciate what you already have. Written by Rend Collective & illustrated by Natasha Debnam.

King of Me Book:
In this fun and quirky board book your kids will join Max as she discovers some of the incredible humans in the Bible who trusted God to be in control of their darkest and most difficult times. Follow her adventure along with Rend Collective as they learn that these bible stories are so much more than history but that God can do the same for us today.
