Happy Saturday, friends! It's the weekend and we still have the week ahead left for summer vacation, but we're also starting with routines and schedules. Yesterday we started off by looking up the bus schedules for both girls. Then, we got a phone call from the middle school letting us know that D's 7th (holy guacamole!) grade schedule was ready to view. Next, R's first soccer practice of the season, which is followed by another one this morning (right now, actually). It's like the "walls" of routine are closing in and I am the petulant child, stomping my feet and shouting "I'M NOT READY!". 

Today we have only a few things planned. After soccer practice, we will run a few errands and then head down to visit with Gram. We can't be too wild tonight because we have an early morning planned tomorrow. We'll be heading to Boston for FAN EXPO Boston with my sister, Jess, and nephew, E!  The girls have no idea and I'm so excited I've almost spoiled the surprise a bunch of times by talking about it with Matt in front of them. 

This is our first experience at one of these conventions and I really only wanted to go because I saw that  William Daniels (Mr. Feeny, Boy Meets World), was going to be there. Then, once I saw the full guest list, my extreme fangirl mode was activated and it's been on since we ordered our tickets  Wednesday.

So, even though next week is our last week of summer vacation, we'll be keeping busy with a few awesome adventures!
