Mommy's Block Party Welcomes New Contributor, Taylor Abbasi

Mommy's Block Party is thrilled to welcome Taylor Abbasi to our team of contributors. We're thankful to have another wonderful wife and mom joining us to share reviews and personal stories. Taylor is a longtime family friend of MBP Owner, Ondria Witt. Keep reading to get to know Taylor, and please help us welcome her to the MBP family!

Hello, I'm Taylor, and I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself to you! I'm a wife and, as of the beginning of 2019, a new mom to my son, who we affectionately call "Little Bear" after his Grandfather, "Bear" Bruner. I am also a puppy and kitty mom to two rescued pets. I am a life-long Carolinian (North and South) and a graduate of UNC Charlotte; Go Niners!

In the real world, I am an in-house attorney for a Long-Term Care Company and, while I love my work, my true passions are my family, my faith, and traveling (no specific order and I think it's the best when I can find ways to enjoy all three at once). It is my hope and prayer that my passion for my family and faith are apparent to anyone who meets me; and as for traveling, you'll probably have to get to know me a little bit better before you see that one, but I passionately believe that the world is like a book and that you have to travel to see more than the first page. In addition, my husband and I are small business owners, currently opening a restaurant here in North Carolina. As a mom, I would describe myself as a little bit crunchy and a "lottle" bit geeky but primarily focused on making sure that my son grows up happy and healthy and to be a good man.
