It's the first day of school for these little ladies. I was feeling really worried since we spent much of the summer throwing caution to the wind and foregoing our regular bedtime routine, but both girls were up and ready on time! 

This year already feels a little surreal since both girls took a bus to school this morning. I used to bring both girls to school and last year D started taking the bus because she was going to a different school. This year, R wanted to try taking the bus, so I agreed, even though I kind of hate it right now. I know in the long run it's going to be a good thing, especially since it'll save me from driving back and forth to the school 3 times a day! 

I'm excited to see what this school year has in store for our 7th grader and our 2nd grader. I know good things are coming and I'll be praying over them, their teachers, and their schoolmates daily.
