Happy Saturday, friends! The weekend is here and it's promising to be full of sunshine. Unfortunately, it is also promising to bring a heatwave along and our area is under an "Excessive Heat Warning" until 8pm tomorrow. It looks like the Wigglesworth crew is going to have to find some indoor activities to take advantage of this weekend, and luckily I do have a few in mind!
One of the first things I want to do this weekend is head to the movies and see Disney's "The Lion King". As much as I wish there was more focus on new ideas for films, this particular remake looks AMAZING!
Since it's directed by Jon Favreau, who also directed the live-action version of "The Jungle Book", I've got a good feeling I'll be happy (tee-hee) with how this remake plays out.
In addition to the movie theater; the bowling alley, library, and even the skating rink are on the list of possible places to visit this weekend to keep cool. I'd also like to visit the Yale Peabody Museum. I remember going there for a field trip in elementary school and neither D or R have been. I think it would be a great experience for all of us to go together.
